Darcy is a Canadian-bred mare and is registered with the Canadian
Warmblood Horse Breeders Association in the Premium Mare Book, and with
the Canadian Trakehner Horse Society. Darcy's sire Dobosz was a Polish
Trakehner imported to Canada and sired many successful performance
horses in all three major disciplines - jumping, dressage and eventing.
Darcy was trained in basic dressage and jumping and also placed in
endurance competition … she even rounded up cattle in the Canadian
Rockies before retiring to stud. She has produced four stunning
warmblood foals to top stallions in North America.
Darcy and her most recent foal, Paragon (Odilon) joined the Team
Harmony breeding programme in November 2004. She is welcomed as a
quality addition to the broodmare band.
